Modus creates an outdoor campaign to point out the benefits of living on campus.

Modus were called in to market remaining rooms in the brand new accommodation at Aston University. Phase two of Aston Student Villages is now completed, offering students the very best in on campus living. All 3100 rooms are beautifully appointed with en-suites, free wifi and for those booking early, a 3 weeks rent free period.

Modus have been working with the Residential Services team for 6 years providing all of their design and creative services requirements, however with the increased pressure from the private sector to market rooms it was decided to launch a two pronged strategy of  ‘Stay on Campus’ and ‘Come back to Campus’. The campaign was designed to point out all of the benefits of living on campus, as a-posed to the private landlord.

At the heart of the creative approach has been the Canadian Goose which is synonymous with the campus as they can often be seen around Lakeside. An outdoor campaign to include bus shelters on known student routes and on broad street have taken place. This has been supported by posters distributed around the campus, featured on social networks and on information screens, feedback from the client has reported applications up on this time last year!
