designmodus rebrands charity OPENhouse
The Stroud based charity OPENhouse was founded in 1978, under the name Shire Training Workshops and was also known as the Painswick Inn Project. Confusion was the word of the moment and the charity decided a rebrand was needed to clarify their proposition and strengthen recognition across the county.
modus successfully won the pitch to rebrand this Gloucestershire based charity and we continue to work with them on their marketing. We have just launched their new website http://www.openhouse.me.uk/ demonstrating and showcasing a new a refreshing approach to web design; featuring a navigational style that best reflects the OPENhouse approach to learning.
Guy Marson led the branding team and with modus’ head designer Pippa Jones, spent time with the charity and groups of their young people working to really understand the needs of the charity and the personality of the brand.
OPENhouse enables young people and vulnerable individuals in the Stroud district and across Gloucestershire to discover their potential through building a community where they can live, relate, learn, work, get support and find their next step in life. This is achieved by providing housing, enhanced support, development and learning opportunities and links to volunteering and employment experiences. Through a strong community based model OPENhouse provides each individual with a tailor made, flexible programme that directly meets their specific needs.
