WAVOCC thanks Modus Creative
Our immense gratitude goes to Modus Creative. This Worcester-city based design company provides innovative, creative responses to the needs of a diverse, dispersed client base.
When Modus was asked to support the 2012 ‘WAVOCC AGM and Worcestershire Health and Wellbeing Conference’, they responded in triplicate … with money, materials and manpower! This generosity extended to the design and production of our last 2 newsletters.
Their creative team of marketers, designers and digital experts work with
Worcester Warriors, Worcestershire County Cricket, Aston University and countywide businesses. Happily, they also work with this county’s VCS.
When they are not providing branding solutions for Sight Concern Worcestershire they are giving of their free time to help raise money for this charity. Since the end of 2012 Sally Ellison, WAVOCC Chair and Chief Officer of Worcester Volunteer Centre has been working on marketing projects with Guy Marson, their Creative Director; he sees this activity as part of Modus’s commitment to corporate social responsibility.
Guy said of Modus’s work in the Voluntary and Community Sector “a lot of the Modus team quietly involve themselves with supporting charities; sometimes, however, to raise lots of money and awareness we opt for making a big, big noise too. It’s our business to communicate and be creative about it!”
He added “I am only too aware of the constraints facing the VCS at the moment; lack of funding and huge change particularly in the Health and Wellbeing arena. We’re here to help, we are sensitive to the challenges the sector is facing, but we recognise that full service marketing activities, whether big or small, can make a positive impact on your fortunes.”
