modus once again gets behind this amazing dining event

As Worcestershires only eye health and sight loss charity, Sight Concern support around 2,500 blind and partially sighted people across the county each year. An estimated at 10,000 Worcestershire people are in need of their services. 3 Years ago modus launched and promoted Dining in The Dark as a fund raising and awareness campaign.

FIND THE FOOD: Sight Concern chief officer Jenny Gage tucks into dessert during Bindles’ Dining in the Dark event.

In 2012 modus marketed and promoted the event across the county. Bindles Brassiere hosted 76 blindfold and black tied diners in a fantastic dining experience. Although unseen by all, the menu was delicious – Broccoli Soup with Blue Cheese Beignet Caramelized Walnuts, followed by Proscuitto ham wrapped Chicken Leg with wild mushroom mousse, spinach puree and new potatoes, Chicken Crackling. And topped off with Baked Vanilla Cheesecake with Passion fruit sorbet, Roasted Pineapple, Coconut Tuille.

Fantastic! And the event raised £3800 for Sight Concern Worcestershire, educated a gathering of 76 guests and now the cry is when can we do this again.

The answer is easy. 2013! and once again modus are right behind this event offering free marketing, design and print services.
